PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Develop and implement a supply chain and logistics strategy for Europe based on HQ guidelines in order to facilitate a cost and time effective product flow to customers. Develop and implement the organization’s. security strategy in order to minimize losses because of theft and/or fraud.

KEY ACTIVITIES
In this role you will report into the company President. You will be based in our Regional Headquarters in Delft.

Logistics strategy & operation
 Develop and implement a supply chain and logistics strategy for Europe based on HQ guidelines in order to facilitate a cost and time effective product flow to customers
 Inform regional logistics directors, logistics managers and other stakeholders with regards to the supply chain and logistics strategy in order to enable them to develop operational plans on regional/domestic level
 Lead Logistics function in the East European sub region in order to keep an overview of the actual performance levels and customer satisfaction
 Analyze monthly KPI report and rolling forecast in order to monitor the operational performance of logistics service providers (LSP) and logistics team
 Lead and initiate meetings and conference calls with senior management LSP, sales subsidiary management and customers in order to build and maintain relationships and evaluate performance & service levels
 Execute crisis management (President escalations) in order to solve operational issues in an optimum way and time frame

Project Management
 Present and propose business cases and ROI reports to President in order to get approval for projects
 Initiate and lead pan European projects in order to improve the supply chain efficiency and/or reduce costs
 Control project planning, budget and resources in order to ensure that projects are finished within the agreed timeframe and budget

Security
 Lead the organization’s security function in order to minimize losses because of theft and/or fraud
 Lead and initiate meetings with head of security team in order to keep an overview of pending incidents and countermeasures

People Management
 Organize recurring meetings with direct reports in order to discuss their own performance and team performance
 Initiate continuous improvement plans for employee satisfaction and create an optimum working environment within the departments in order to become the preferred place to work

PROFILE – COMPETENCE
For this role we are looking for a candidate with experience in logistics operations and passion for development of supply chains. Our ideal candidate has strong social and communications skills towards the team and internal and external customers. Our ideal candidate is a decisive and flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality that is used to work in teams. Our ideal candidate has:
 A Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/SCM
 Track record in logistics operations, development and project management
 12+ year working experience in a relevant role
 Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Additional European languages or Korean are an advantage;
 Advanced knowledge of ERP systems
 Excellent leadership and people management skills
 Cultural awareness
 Extensive travelling will be required in this role
