PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The key purpose of the role is to provide a wide range of support to the Pricing department at a senior level. To be a trusted and responsible Sr. Pricing manager reporting to the Head of Pricing department (HOD)
Execute and coordinate Logistics tender and contract process and enable decision making in order to achieve the optimum balance between service and pricing. Tender management for our European organization involves RFQ’s for 16 countries in Europe with a focus on Warehousing & Transportation varying in value between €50K and €20+ million per tender. Next to that execute business simulations and benchmarks regarding (internal) business development in order to find required SCM solutions and anticipate on market trends.

KEY ACTIVITIES
 Support HOD as required and act as ‘go to’ point in HOD absence and determine when to escalate / consult with HOD
 Initiate Requests for Quotations in order to invite Logistics Service Providers into the bidding process of renewals and new contracts.
 Determine preferred quotations and drive the decision making process of Senior Management by analyzing and comparing service and cost levels.
 Review and report the service and cost level of the LSP in order to determine and drive performance at the optimum level.
 Work on business simulations to find optimal solutions that meet the requirements of the customer (internal Samsung).
 Actively search for benchmarks and information of logistics services and costs and gather information about trends and innovations in cross-industry platforms.
 Interact with internal stakeholders like logistics managers in European Sales Subsidiaries and Senior Management for Samsung SDS

PROFILE
 A Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/SCM ;
 10+ years working experience in a relevant role;
 SCM & Logistics knowledge, with a strong preference for Warehousing and Transportation;
 Self-starting capabilities and strong stakeholder management skills
 A proficient level of English and Korean (written and verbal);
 Very good MS Office skills (mainly Excel and Access);
 Experience with ERP system;
 Ability to travel.

 Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation and analytical skills;
 Flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality;
 Conceptual thinker with the perseverance to finish what you start;
 Knows how to manage stakeholders;
 Excellent planning and organizing skills.
