JOB DESCRIPTION


JOB TITLE: SAP WMS Consultant
REFERENCE: TO BE ADDED BY HR
LOCATION: Delft in Netherland
GRADE: CL2 ~ CL3
CONTRACT TYPE: Start from fixed term contractor (12 months) with Samsung SDS-UK
REPORTS TO: MIS Team leader of the SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS EUROPE LOGISTICS B.V.


SUBSIDIARY / DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
In this role, you will be responsible for operating the WMS system in Samsung Electronics Europe Logistics Subsidiary that is based on SAP ERP and is for the warehouse management. You will also be involved in discussions for customer’s requirements regarding this system and support ABAP development for these.


PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
• Program and Interface development using ABAP in WMS
• Response for customer’s requirements and system enhancement
• Monitoring the WMS system and system failures prevention
• Understanding warehouse management and data analysis
• Support the system upgrade and enhancement


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Offer consulting services for customer requests
• Build relationship with customer stakeholder and execute producing and pitching proposals to the customer
• Preferably, Understand interfaces to LE/MM/SD and other areas of overlap.
• Development in SAP WMS and also deployment of interfaces between SAP WMS and ERP/Carrier/Cello system in order to ensure optimum flow of information, data accuracy and flawless processes;
• Building quarterly and yearly strategy as well as action plan for ICT business development
• Identifying the weak areas in the process and find a better improved process.
• Manage, plan and prioritize tasks to achieve agreed deadlines and meet user requirements
• Identify and implement improvements to systems and its applications to meet forecast business requirements
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams on major projects, contributing expertise and advise to ensure successful project completion
• The business has a fast pace environment and that the business changes require someone adaptable and willing to learn new areas
• Travel within Europe or to HQ if necessary

EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience


SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Essential –
• ERP development skills (ABAP)
• Dedicated to customer care or customer support.
• Ability to liaise with customers in Samsung Electronics at all levels.
• Self-motivated, well presented, professional and dedicated.


Advantage -
• Korean speaking
• Knowledge and experience with SAP WM or EWM would be advantage
• ERP advanced skills mainly for SAP LE and additionally SD.
• Largely autonomous role and comfortable with working with senior managers within IT and within the business.

EXPERIENCE:
Essential –
• ERP projects or operation experiences
• Good customer facing skills with experience of all levels of people in the user community
• Able to take responsibility, work under pressure, show initiative and have good problem solving and communication skills.

Advantage -
• ERP project experiences based on S/4 HANA
